The hydraulic part doesn’t really do all the work. The cover isn’t that heavy, but I wouldn’t call this effortless. You still gotta use some effort. It’s not just a button you press and it opens, though that would be cool.

I was looking for a hydraulic lift and most I found were between $400 and $900. Found this one suggested and could not believe it. This is under $200. No freaking way is this true. I think a lot of people consider products and see the cheapest one and think “it’s so cheap, it must be crap”. I thought that at first because this was the cheapest hydraulic mount I could find and it’s significantly cheaper than others. But I assure you, the quality is there. This is fantastic.
