I don’t get the purpose. A hot tub cover is light weight. I’ve seen kids open them. My friend recommended I get one, “it’ll be so great”. Total crap. It’s nice, but I could have saved money not getting it.

Never heard of a cover lift before and wasn’t sure what’s purpose was. The name “cover lift” is pretty self-explanatory, but why you do need one? A cover isn’t hard to lift. But my wife insisted so we got one. It’s great. I still don’t know why we needed it. I guess it does keep it off the ground and from getting dirty.
